Hi, I'm Graeme. In the Transformers community I'm better known as Moff, or PrimeTime Moff. I run PrimeTimeToyz, but for three years I was also the driving force behind TFUKcon, a small fan gathering that we affectionately titled the UK's cosiest convention, a moniker by Lucantees that managed to capture exactly what everyone else couldn't.

After our 2026 event, I made the decision to step away from TFUKcon. Since then I've taken the time to properly think about what I wanted to do next.

In that time I co-organised the June 2026 TFN Glasgow Gathering and I'm supporting Transformers The Show with a meet-up of fans ahead of the 40th anniversary screening, giving fans a chance to catch up before the film. We've now had three TFN Glasgow gatherings in the space of a year, and each one showed me the same thing: the appetite for small community assemblies is real, and it's growing.

These experiences reinforced something I already knew but hadn't fully acted on. I want to help people spend time together. IACON is my way of trying to encourage, support and mentor anyone who wants to arrange a get-together of their own, using everything those years taught me.

I've lived with severe social anxiety for most of my life. I had two breakdowns before I turned thirty.

I'd been part of online communities since the 90s, part of this fandom for just as long, but it took me until 2012 to actually walk into a room and attend a convention.

That's not a small gap. That's the better part of two decades of loving a community from behind a screen because the idea of showing up in person felt impossible.

I tell people this because I know I'm not the only one. If you've ever wanted to be part of something and found the actual walking-through-the-door part to be the hardest bit, I understand that more than most. IACON isn't just about venues, budgets and publicity. It's also about making that first step easier for the next person who's stuck exactly where I was.
